Bird a Day

Now, less of an everyday thing, and more of a whenever-I-get-around-to-it thing.

Peach-faced Lovebird
In lieu of Valentine’s Day, I’m doing something a little different. Instead of talking about a specific breed of bird, I’m just gonna talk about my pet bird, because why not.
I own a Peach-faced Lovebird, of the Pied mutation, which means he has a lot more yellow on him, basically. His name is Orlando (for some reason?) and he’ll be eight years old in May. He’s a really scruffy guy due to a bad habit he picked up after getting in an accident early on (he flew into a door/got crushed a bit), but other than that, he’s such a beautiful guy. And really cheerful and friendly. I just love him to death, is what I’m saying. He really likes Chex cereal and bread, and sometimes Cheerios, and is scared of fruit no matter what we do to convince him it’s good. I could talk about him all day, so I’m just gonna stop now.
