Bird a Day

Now, less of an everyday thing, and more of a whenever-I-get-around-to-it thing.

European Starling
This common bird is native to much of Europe and west Asia, although it has been introduced to North America, South Africa, and Oceania. They often move in flocks, and have been seen in numbers of more than a million in Denmark. In the United States, they are considered pest, and as an introduced species, exempt from the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, making it legal to hunt and kill them.
